A lawyer and a chinese National have been arraigned in court and charged with stealing 20m from Lei Yufang by agent.
Wang Liyong and Vincent Mawira marangu are alleged that on diverse dates between 1day of march 2017 and 1st day November 2018 in Nairobi town jointly with others not before court being an agent of Lei Yufang the director WH Harmony International Investment limited stole 20 million the property of Lei Yufang.
The two who appeared before Nairobi magistrate Peter ooko pleaded not guilty to 11 counts of stealing and forgery.
They pleaded for leniency saying they are not at flight risk and that they will a bide by the bond terms issued to them.
They are also alleged to have forged a signature of Geofrey Njeru Mukatha ,a Stamp impression of Mwangi J muraya Advocates and a company seal of WH harmony International company limited on a document namely agreement for sale of apartment block No.B3-3 on LR 209/7741 purporting it to be genuine agreement for sale made,signed,stamped and sealed by the said authorities.
According to the lengthy charge sheet they are also alleged to have forged a signature of Lei yufang on a document namely joint venture agreement for sale of property known as LR2009/7741 Muchai road,Nairobi purporting them to be genuine signatures signed by the said Lei Yufang.
The court has granted them a cashbail of 3m or bond of 5m.
