Terror suspects spend night in lodging planning Milimani law courts Terror attack.

The trial of 3 suspects charged with planning an attack on Milimani law courts in February 2018 started today. Abdimajit Adan, Mohammed Nane, and Antony Kitila alias rasta were arraigned before Milimani Senior Resident Magistrate Zainab Abdul where the court was informed how two of the three suspects Abdimajit Adan and Antony Kitila alias rasta rented hotel rooms in Ngara Nairobi for two days planning the attack, days before they were arrested between February 15 and 23 2018. Desai villa hotel receptionist Zeinab Hussein recounted how the two rented out 2 rooms and left without checking out only for the room keys to be found in the vehicle they had planned to use in the attack. The court was also informed how the suspects acquired a motor vehicle registration number KBM 200D which was fitted with explosives devices embedded in the body of the vehicle for purpose of acting as a car bomb and which they were transporting a cache of arms to Nairobi to carry out the attack. Police recovered 5 AK-47 rifles, 36 fully loaded magazines, 36 unprimed hand grenades, 18 improvised explosive devices and 3 military knives. Investigations carried out so showed that the three had been in constant communication with a number of well-known Al Shabaab terrorists based in Somalia prior to their arrest. The case continues.
