Police Imposter charged with Fraud.

Rabson Anzetse Alias Corporal Samoka was charged in a Nairobi magistrate court.
A man impersonating to be a police officer from the office of the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) was arraigned in court today facing a count of personation contrary to the laws of Kenya.
He is alleged to have pretended to be an officer on the 27th of May along Kijabe Street jointly with another who was not present in court.
Rabson faces further charges of obtaining money by false pretenses. Between 30th of May and the 7th of June, with intent to defraud, he is alleged to have obtained a sum of Ksh 136,600 from Ms. Natian by falsely pretending that he was involved in a serious road traffic accident and had been admitted at Kisumu Hospital a fact he knew to be false.
Rabson Anzetse Alias Corporal Samoka was arrested yesterday and appeared in court before principal magistrate M. Nanzushi where he pleaded not guilty. He was released on a cash bail of Ksh 400,000 case to be mentioned on 17th July.
