Director of a Nairobi-based chemical company charged with stealing Ksh.80 million .

HighChem Speciality Chemicals Limited Director David Njau Wambugu was charged that on diverse dates between August 7, 2012 and April 26, 2016 at Standard Chartered Bank Limited Industrial Area Branch, he stole $804,879 (Ksh.80, 544, 241) the property of HighChem East Africa Limited.


He denied the charges before Senior Principal Magistrate Martha Mutuku and was released on a cash bail of Ksh.500,000 or Ksh.1 million bond.
The matter was set for hearing on April 3, 2019.
