- A pilot and a businessman have been charged with fraudulent disposition of mortgaged property worth 228 M From credit bank limited contrary to the law.
Osman Abdullahi Osman and Gullet Abdullahi Osman who appeared before Milimani court magistrate Kennedy Cheruiyot are alleged that on 21st march 2016 and 21 st may 2018 jointly with others not before court being morgages of 12 motor vehicle all valued at 228 million mortgaged fro credit bank limited with intent to defraud the said bank limited disposed off the said motor vehicles from the boundaries of kenyawithout the consent and knowledge of the bank.
They are also facing other charges of forgery,particulars are that on the same time and date with intent to defraud forged a certain credit bank banking deposit slip for Sh996,000 purporting it to be genuine banking slip for money deposited to the said bank at ongata rongai branch.
They face a total of five counts raging from fraud and forgery of various banking slips.
They denied all the charges and were released on cashbail of sh500,000 each.
