A businessman Dickson Njanja Mararo who shot two police officers and a waitress at Quivers club along Thika road has been detained at muthaiga police station until tomorrow when the court will deliver its ruling on application for detention.
DPP is seeking 14 days to detain the suspect at Gigiri police station to complete investigations.
The DPP through state counsel Evelyne Onunga told the court that two victims of the shooting  have been discharged in hospital namely constable Lawrence muturi attached to Kasarani police station and Felistus Nzisa a waitress at quiver club while one police officer constable felistus Musyoka attached to Starehe police station is still in Nairobi hospital undergoing treatment.
In the miscellaneous application before court ,the Dpp is asking for more time to allow the victims indentify the businessman through identification parade at Gigiri police station.
The Dpp claim investigations into the matter are incomplete and the suspect has not yet been processed for figure prints.
State counsel Evelyne Onunga says they are yet to retrieve the CCTV footage from quiver club for a cyber forensic report ,they also have not recorded statement from crucial witnesses, obtain medical report of the victims and obtain a report from Balistic examiners.
