A Pilot charged with Sh250 Million Karen land Fraud

A kenyan pilot Eric Agolla Lugalia has been charged with karen land fraud worth 250,000,000
Particulars of the offence are that on unknown date within the republic of kenya jointly with others not before court with intent to defraud Stuart Gerald Cullinan Herd a parcel of land situated in Karen along Bogoni road measuring 1.970 hectares valued at Sh250 million made a false document namely certificate of tittle IR NO.99256 LR NO.1160/308 dated 2nd August 2005 purporting it to be genuine certificate of tittle issued by the ministry of lands a fact he knew to be false.
Eric is also alleged to have forged the certificate of tittle for the said land,dated 2nd August 2005 purporting it to be a genuine certificate of tittle issued by the ministry of lands a fact he knew to be false.
The accused is facing 11 counts of making false document,uttering a false document and forgery over the said parcel of land.
His lawyer charles Ongoto asked court to release the accused person on a free bond saying there is a dispute of the civil court division of the highcourt and he wondered why the police rushed him to court before the completion of the civil suit.
The lawyer asked for leniency saying the accused is not at a flight risk since he has never been charged before except the case currently in court.
He pleaded not guilty of all the charges amd was released on a cashbail of Sh 150,000 before Nairobi Senior resident magistrate Muthoni Nzibe.
