Two Directors charged with 54b land fraud

 

Two machakos directors have been arraigned in court and charged with defrauding 54billion from Kapiti plains estate limited of its parcel of land

Muthiani mwangangi and Eveline Mbithe have denied ten counts of conspiracy defraud,obtaining money by false pretense and making false document without authority.

Particulars of the offence are that on 20th January 2017at unknown place within the republic of Kenya with others not before court conspired to defraud Kapiti plains estate limited of a parcel of land valued at 54billion.

They face another charge of making a false document against the law , it’s alleged that On 28th September 2010 at unknown place within Nairobi made a false letter of allotment of the parcel of land at Konza namely konza ranch association parporting it to be genuine letter issued by commissioner of lands.

They are also alleged to have obtained money by false pretense from Michael kivuvo 100k and Veronica Mwikali 350k by falsely pretending that they are in a position to sell them plots of land at konza.

They denied the said charges before Nairobi senior principal magistrate Kennedy cheruiyot and we’re released on 300k bail.
